Arguably one of the best defenders in the Sunshine State Conference
as said by some SSC coaches. Considered a versatile and athletic player who does a lot of things well on the basketball
court. During the 2006-07 season averaged 10.0 points and a team high 6.2 rebounds per game for the well-respected Lynn
University Fighting Knights. Shot an amazing 53% from the filed, which was a team high. Measured as a solid player with
good athletic ability!

2007 TTI Third Team All-American Selection
Kirkwood is an athletic and strong player who possesses great abilities. Displays
good jumping ability. Averaged a solid 10.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 assist per game throughout our weekend
of play. A player who is a slasher and can play the small forward position at the next level. Contains the
ability to put the ball on the floor and really attack the basket hard. Draws a lot of fouls because of his aggressiveness
when driving to the rim. Finishes really well around the basket. Has solid ball handling skills. Shoots
the ball well from the outside. Very good rebounder who attacks the glass hard on both ends of the floor.
Has good basketball understanding and seemed to be coached well throughout his basketball playing career. Overall, a
very solid pro prospect.
