2006-07 NAIA All-American selection. First Team All Conference (SSAC) selection. Led RC in scoring as a senior with an averaged of 16.5ppg (2^nd in conference). 2006 Defensive Player-of-the-Year. Scored 1,410 career points and grabbed 391 career rebounds at RC. “Carl Williams is a special talent. He plays all aspects of the game. He is a great teammate who is very explosive off the dribble and attacking the basket. He shoots it well from the perimeter which makes him a very tough match-up. He practices every day at game-speed and doesn’t take plays off.”-RC Head Coach TJ Rosene.

Williams is a player who is quick, athletic and skilled. Has a dynamic first step. Has great ball handling abilities and is at his best when breaking defenders down off the dribble, which allows him to create his own shot or get opportunities for teammates. Shoots the basketball well from the outside, which includes mid-range as well as three-point range. Good rebounding guard especially on the offensive end. Solid defensive player who does not take plays off. Has a good understanding for the game and plays well with others. Coached well throughout his playing career. Overall, a player who can compete on the next level and could indeed succeed on a structured pro club.
